Ryan Lantz

Ryan Lantz is a co-founder and Managing Principle at Grays Development Company. He is responsible for executing the company’s vision and maintains P & L responsibility for the business.  

In addition to Grays Development Company, Lantz is a Co-Owner in Denver-based Lokal Homes.  Lokal Homes is Denver’s largest privately held homebuilder and the 115th largest builder in the Nation.

In addition to his business responsibilities, Lantz spends his free time with his two children who are active in sports and many recreational activities.

David Lemnah

David Lemnah is a co-founder and principal at Grays Development Company and is involved in company strategy, due-diligence, and project execution.   

In addition to Grays Development Company, Dave serves as the President of Denver-based Lokal Homes.  Lokal Homes is Denver’s largest privately held homebuilder and the 115th largest builder in the Nation. He is also active in the local homebuilding community serving as Treasurer and Board Member at the Denver Homebuilders Association. 

When Dave isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family on the slopes where his two daughters are competitive mogul skiers with Team Summit Colorado.

Dan R. Koehler

Dan is SVP Capital Markets for Grays Development Company and is focused on optimizing the capital structure of the company and its development projects.

Dan brings 30 years of experience in capital development, acquisitions and asset management within a variety of industries, including: real estate, oil field services, and private equity. Prior to joining Grays, Dan served as President of a global asset management firm with over $600MM AUM, including over time: alternative assets, commercial real estate, development projects, and a multifamily portfolio of over 4,000 units.

Dan earned a BBA in Real Estate – Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

When not working, Dan enjoys spending time with his family.

Brad Winters

Before joining Grays Development, Brad Winters served as Managing Partner of Eko
Development in Dallas Texas, developing, and building townhome and multifamily projects in strategic infill locations.

Wanting to return to Colorado full time, Brad turned his focus to his hometown market joining Grays as the director of multifamily. Brad oversees all pre-development operations for Grays multifamily development projects.

When Brad isn’t in the office, he’s busy playing golf and traveling.

Chantel Bernstein

Prior to joining Grays Development Company, Chantel served as controller for Centex Homes’ southeast Florida division providing financial oversight to the division and internal audit services to other divisions around the country. In 2006, Chantel made the decision to leave corporate life to raise her family and provide part-time accounting services to construction contracting companies.  Chantel moved with her family to Colorado in 2007. In 2013, Chantel began providing accounting services to Lokal Homes on a part-time basis. As Lokal Homes continued to grow, Chantel continued to provide accounting services on a project basis. 

In 2021, Chantel joined Grays as controller where she oversees all accounting and financial reporting. Chantel holds an MBA, with a focus in accounting, from Florida Atlantic University and an active Florida CPA License. 

When Chantel is not working, she loves attending her kids’ robotics and soccer competitions.

Christopher Musselman

Chris Musselman is a senior financial analyst at Grays Development Company. Chris is involved in all aspects of the real estate development life cycle including acquisitions, entitlements, financing, development, construction, asset management, and dispositions. Throughout his time at Grays Development Company, Chris has been involved in over $150MM in acquisitions and dispositions as well as assisted in raising over $90MM in debt and equity.

Chris is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and received his B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from the Leeds School of Business at The University of Colorado. Chris maintains ties with CU Boulder sitting on the Young Alumni Board of Directors for the CU Boulder Real Estate Center.

When Chris isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and traveling to see live music.

Russell N. Watterson

Mr. Watterson began his legal career in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the law firm of Bennett Jones, LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, principally involving pipeline, and oil and gas firms, domestically and internationally. While at Bennett Jones, Russ assisted TransCanada Pipelines, through a secondment arrangement, during the divestiture of its pipeline assets in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, including the Transportadora del Norte (TGN) Pipeline and the GasAndes Pipeline located in the Southern Cone area.

In 2001, following his tenure at Bennett Jones, Mr. Watterson continued his legal career in a general counsel role and as a principal for an associated group of real estate developers in Denver, Colorado. While in this role, Russ developed an expertise in land acquisitions and divestiture, tax structuring, venture formation, project finance, entitlement, and various other areas associated with real estate investment and development.

In 2008, Mr. Watterson became the General Counsel for EnQuest Energy Services Corp., a publicly listed oilfield services company with assets and operations in the United States and Canada. In this capacity, Russ assisted in facilitating the growth of the company from a private start-up to $150 million in annual revenues, culminating in a 2008 reverse takeover transaction resulting in a public listing.

When the assets of EnQuest were acquired by TFI International Inc. (TSX:TFII) (formerly TransForce, Inc.) in 2010, Russ became the US General Counsel for TFI International Inc., a publicly listed Canadian corporation with over $4 Billion in annual revenues. In this role, Russ assisted the company in its explosive growth in the United States, with specific responsibility over mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisition, litigation management, employment matters, and all other domestic US legal matters. During his tenure at TFI, Russ assisted the company in over a dozen acquisitions involving transactions valued at over $300 MM to less than $10 MM.

Mr. Watterson opened Watterson Law in 2016 where he advises real estate investors and developers, homebuilders, entrepreneurs, oilfield services companies, and individuals and corporations across the United States and Canada.

Marsia Richards

Marsia Richards is an Executive Assistant supporting the team at Gray’s Development Company. With vast experience in real estate and having managed the office for a construction company throughout college, Marsia understands the needs required to successfully support all aspects of the land and multifamily development projects. Her friendly demeanor and organizational skills keep the office light-hearted and the workflow buzzing. 

In addition to working for a construction company for many years, Marsia has previously held Real Estate licenses in California and Colorado. She also functioned as a mortgage agent and was involved in buying and rehabilitating distressed single-family residences. Besides her love for real estate, Marsia’s other career passion is healthcare. She is a Registered Nurse and holds a degree in Nursing and a certificate in CranioSacral Therapy. 

Outside of work, Marsia loves spending time with her family and is frequently found golfing, meditating, holding a yoga pose or learning new integrative health therapies.
